Default Some oddball interior questions

I was sitting in my garage in the fairlady and was looking at my interior and came up with some questions.

1.) Why is the roofline grey and the rest of the interior is black? (db track z)

2.) What is that small indented space for behind the coin holder? I noticed I can put a buisness card in there perfectly.

3.) Why isn't there a cubby space behind the drivers seat but there's one behind the passenger seat. It's obvious they have room to put one behind the drivers seat so why not give us the extra space?

as stated, probably cost

2.) What is that small indented space for behind the coin holder? I noticed I can put a buisness card in there perfectly.

Also makes a good place to mount aftermarket switches...etc

1) You'd be hard pressed to find a car that has a black roofline

2) I believe that the location where the heated seat controls go (i have to check to make sure in my car)

3) What n8vz said, it's for the stock BOSE sub.

Can you fit some decent subs in that hole for the stock bose one if ya have the base system?

If you remove the Black plastic trim Peice you will find a steel frame with a hole in it ready for a 10" free-air sub to be mounted. just add an amp. You can purchase a plastic grill that replaces stock solid trim peice for about $15 at any Nissan Dealer, it will say "Bose" on it, but who gives a ****.

Yes, but the problem comes with trying to seal the area for accurate bass reproduction and good SQ. If you are looking for a quick and easy bass fix you can throw a free air subwoofer into there and be done with it.
