Default Rear Wing price!!! WTF

Does anyone know why this wing is so expensive? And if there is another one like it for cheaper. I like this wing because it is low, not high like all the other CF ones.

because its made of DRY CARBON
all other dry carbon wings are around 1500-2000...
(yes more than entire FRP bodykits)
...
if you want cheaper but C/F look
check out 3dcarbon.com
they make GT 'C/F' wings

I love the style of that wing, does it come in non-CF? I am not a big CF fan.

the only difference between that and the high mount is just in the pedistals.

INGs, Voltex, Top Secret, Cwest, all their touring wings are in the $2000+ range. however i do believe ings does make an FRP version for a few hundred less.

you can get a similarly shaped GT wing from APR wing for around 12xx also in carbon, but the pedistal placement is different...

I believe at least some of the companys you mentioned make GT CF wings for our car adjustable, which could accont for the high price tag

Yeah any good quality spoiler is good be pricey. I paid $870 shipped for mine (Impul 933S) and its not even a GT style or a CF finish.

That's why I dropped the idea of gold-plating the entire car (including tires).

it's a privilege ... not a right.

as for adjustability, its all about the # of holes you drill into the top of your wing pedistal and/or base...
