My right headlight is cracking apart. Really. The left one looks like new, but the right has about 25 crack lines, all in the same direction, all over the outer plastic. At first I thought my dog scratched it, but some of them appear to start from the inside, and go almost all the way through. There are no impact marks or anything like that either.

Has this happened to anyone else? Can you buy just the outer clear plastic, or do you have to buy a whole new headlight assembly?

 

Best thing u can do right now is find someone that can sell u a used right headlight. I see a lot of them floating around now that the 06's are out. The plastic is not sold separately...

As for the crack lines, maybe someone sat on it? Or did u drop ice on it on a sunny day...

 

By any chance you have the clear bra covered on your headlights?
