fwiw, i have this hood and a 1/4" plenum spacer, and both the plenum and strut bar do rub the hood, and i've tried every possible combination of strut bar and strut-bar spacer adjustment, so now i'm just running w/o the strut bar. the location of my blower (i have an hks) doesn't interfere with the hood.

 

I was able to fit the stock strut bar with out the spacer and the 5/16" spacer. The firment was good enough. I think the strutbar rubs the plenum a little But i dont think it rubs the hood (i am checking this ASAP today 2b sure)

 

Stillen has a strut bar that might work for ya.

 

The procharger doesn't bulge up anywhere in any unusual way.. the profile of the system is pretty stock.. If i had to guess i'd say you were OK..
