Default How much paint for headlight housings?

I want to paint my headlight housings. I was thinking of ordering from PaintScratch.com. How much paint do i need? Will one 12.5oz spray can do the trick? Also, do i want a can of primer and a can of clearcoat to go with that?

a regular-sized spray can is more than enough to give it a few coats on each headlight.
When i did mine in my other car, i didn't use primer/clearcoat, just make sure the spray paint you buy is heat-resistant. The one I purchased was called HOT PAINT that could handle over 500F degrees.

Well what color are you painting it? if you're doing it flat black? then no problem if you're doing it with a gloss dont do it. I did it first with gloss black with clear coat turned out very ****ty. So i took the housing and had a paint shop professionaly paint my housing super black to match my black z and it only cost 40.00 bucks! i'll post pictures later.
