Anyone have a how to on sanding the console. Recommended grits? Wet sand? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My custom carbon fiber project has fizzled out.

maxipad, unless you have a DA sander, sanding that console piece will take you probably around 16+ hours and your hands might not make it! lol.

I spent about 2.5 hours with 150 grit with the da sander to get all the gradation out.

I have one. So is it just 150 grit all the way through that you recommend and can you give me a rundown of the process? I know how to get all of the pieces off, just don't want to get the surface too rough before trying to get it smooth. Thanks!
