Default Bolts holding hood stripped...

Basically I need to replace two of the four bolts holding my hood to the hinges on either side. It looks like the only way to get these out is by cutting them out and welding new ones in place. Anyone ran across a similar problem?

Chebosto's right - I had some 1/2" thick washers on there to act as spacers to get more air flow under the hood. Guess those bolts are pretty soft cause the threads got mangled.

you could just run a die across the threads to try re-do the threads?

You might also want to torch the bolts to get them to come off easier.
