Default Remove Passenger Seat

Yeah so I am trying to move my TV about 400 miles (U-Haul is $600) and was wondering if it would make sense to toss it in the car. Its about a 27" Flat Screen. I think it could fit if I took out the passenger seat. Anybody done this??

I don't see why not. I plan to do that when I get my Z and have to transport big items.

if you have side airbags in the seat, just besure to do the airbag reset procedure after the move, else you will have the SRS light on-

the passenger side seat isnt complicated to remove, its just 4 bolts, but, i suggest you measure the depth of the TV prior to your move, its some more space, but not alot-

Got the 4 bolts out and ran into what I am thinking is a sensor wire? I don't have side airbags or anything... If I unplug that wire with the car on will I have to take it to the dealer to get the computer reset or anything like that?

I took my seats out to install leather seats and had no probelm with the wires. Just took them out and then plugged back in. Just becareful taking out the plastic fastners that fastens the wires to the bottom of the seat .
