Default will you purchase a body kit for the Z?

Knowing that there are alot of kits available for the Z now from Japan and other body kits surfacing here in the States..
curious on how many of you will be purchasing body kits/spoilers to 'enhance' your looks for the Z.

Z does not need 'enhancing' on the exterior look, IMO

I definitely want to get a body kit for my car. I like the ones that are out now, but I think I'm gonna wait a year or two to see what else comes out. For right now, I'll concentrate on performance parts.

I don't really find any of the kits too appealing. I like the espirit one but still its not something I would want on my car. The nismo spoiler is great.

I am going NISMO all the way with the bodykit, painted to match the Silverstone color of the Z.

the only thing i have to worry about is compensating for all the Zaino that is on the car!

I wouldn't have spent all the money I did on this car if I just wanted to change it.

I think the reason that people purchase body kits is so that their car stands out from the crowd. Also, cars are designed to appeal to the general public, so they're made body kit-less for the most part -- although many manufacturers offer their own body kits for those who want to make their car "look better" (like Nismo, TRD, L-Tuned, AMG, BMW Motosports, Audi Sport, etc...).

Exterior enhancements can be tasteful, if done correctly.

Also, not all of us add kits to stand out. They simply look 'cool' to us.

Nismo's kit adds to the car w/o taking anything away.

Now the cars with wings larger than a 747 are kinda stand out-ish.

Whatever we want to do to our cars really....

I'd really like the Nismo kit, but the $$$ is kicking my bum.

IMO, if done right, a body kit can add to a car's appearance. The way I see it, this car will be available to the masses in a few years considering it is the "bang for the buck" sports car. So in a year or two, I'm definitely moding my exteriors as well as dropping some 19's on that. But, hey, it's your own car so do what makes you feel better.

Simple kits, not the sterotypical riced out Hondas you are thinking of.

With LED washers, 5 foot wings, led exhaust, all that fun stuff.

Just simple.

Skidazzle's Z looks nice with the Nismo kit, no rice at all.

I'm planning on the Nismo kit myself. Since "I" like it.

Plus, it's my car so if I wanna paint the damn thing pink with the Pink Panther scrolling both sides smoking Virginia Slims then I'm going to do it unless you wanna make my car payments for me.

I agree---- I really think Lip kits are Really nice---just accents small parts of the car while givin it that lowered look w/o the Lowereing!

Now most of the Kits I'm seeing lik eteh damn Stillen Remind me of a Honda kit(ie.INvader/Combat,etc,etc)
But INGS+1 is Sweet and Veilside vr 1!!!

Nismo is very tastefull but if you notice,..its basically a lip kit but replaces the Bumper for what reason I don't know(to put a bar across in the mouth grill) and the wing is big but....looks like it was supposed to come on the car!!

IMO alot of people w/ be getin the NISMO(ings+1 too) kit I'm sure,.I would get it if the damn price$$ would come down,...thats too much for a body kit--(Almost like what I payed for my JDM INtegra Front-end w/ CF hood and fenders) and that was a HUGE differnece in apperance!

but we all differ and I'm not by far flaming anyone--but come on---STillEN kit is UGLY!!!

Paint it yellow and you might be ablt to hang w/ theres guys!!!

I've ordered the Nismo Kit except for the rear lower quater panel shirts. To me the Nismo (Nissan Motor Sports) is simple and does'nt change the overall look of the car. Best of all because its Nissan its been race track/wind tunnel tested plus it does'nt void your factory warranty, important should your motor seize through overheating and you've fitted a non Nissan aftermarket front bumper/aero spoiler.

That's my 2 pacific pesos worth!!
