Default How do you remove front and rear emblems?

I only need to remove the rear because for some reason i think there is some rust building up there which kind of scares me. But I might as well learn how to remove all of them.

Are these emblems glued on or are they screwed onto the body?

Any help would be great

its just some padded glue substance...make sure to use lots of heat, goo-gone, and a plastic blade.

Just heat up and pull.

Note that there are hole unders the rear Nissan emblem if you remove it...

Also, the front emblem will leave an indentation.

If you are just reinstalling them, cool, but you can't really just leave them off.

I just used some 3M double sided sticky tape cut to conform with the emblem itself. One trick to get the old ones off if you have trouble is to use some fishing line. It gets underneath the emblem and "saws" away the old glue/sticky tape.

I've used the 3m sticky tape that's clear and it's very durable. Kept my "accord" emblem on when I had a honda and it's keeping my "Nissan" emblem on my G's trunk. Just make sure you clean up the area with some rubbing compounts or dishsoap to remove the wax, then wipe it off with some alcohol to remove any soap residue. Then press in place for 20 seconds or so and you're good.
