Yea they sold their car and whoever bought the car has it on the HIN tour. I got something for them though so the only thing they'll have on me is the PE kit but I will answer that later in the summer with a reverse mounted turbo. Rickdogg- Everyone can have their own opinion, but really everytime a mastergrade thread comes up you start bashing. I don't really think your car is the sh*t but you don't see me out there knocking it 24/7. I mean you got a couple nice sponsors but I have HRE(who is custom building me a set of wheels), Pirelli, AAM, IronWorks and Status if I want their seats, so the kit must be appealing to some people (on the drive to NJ more than a few people took pics and one car club asked me to pull in a lot so they could take pics and the car isn't even painted or have the HRE's on it yet). Oh and by the way after this show season I'll have that set up which will use the passengers side "useless" "ricey" vent on the side. Not trying to bash but respect other people's tastes as others respect yours.

Yea i think that mastergrade kit is pretty sick.. Especially if your into the show scene like me.. I do body work and have done some custom cars myself.. Just by lookin at that kit i can tell that they put alot of time and effort into their car. Truely one of a kind.. As Far as RiCkDoggs Car its nice but its all bolt on parts..No to custom, any of us can build his car..

Just because someone puts a lot of time and does a custom job that no one can redo again does not mean the kit is great. I personally think the mastergrade widebody kit is fugly. I think their kit destroys the line of the 350Z.

Sorry if it offends anyone, but to assume something is a masterpiece because it took a long time and is custom is very niave.

Here is an example of of someone that took a lot of time to do a custom widebody job that probably can't be redone again, but still kept it in good taste.

Speaking of Mastergrade. I met a guy locally who sent his Z to Cali to have the Mastergrade widebody kit installed and have the car painted Lambo orange! I am not a big fan of the kit as it does destroy the Zs lines. However, the car is nice for what it is. And the wheels on this car are Savini 20x13" wrapped in 245 wide tires!!

Enjoy!!

My bad. Those were 345. I dont think he has any issues with it gringing etc. I didnt ask, but he didnt mention it. The kid must have been 20-22 years old too!

Things I definitely didnt liike about this kit:
-you can see rear bumper support thru bumper
-rear tail lights stuck out about 1/4" from the bumper
-rear bumper has a slightly diff. curve that the hatch
-you could see in the front fenders, thru the slots.. exposed sheet metal

I like his wheels. lol I have the same ones (20x11, 20x9) and I wondered what they looked like painted. Too bad they sit inside the fenders too much for me. Savini should have done a slightly different offset to compenstae a little more for the kit. imo

All of these minor problems can be fixed by any bodyshop.
