Default advice

ok heres what happen, me n my friend installed some underbody neons. I loved the results but we onely installed 3 of them because it got dark so we left it at that. So the next morning i decided i would just put the one that was suppost to go on the rear in the trunk so the The strut bar with the Z emblem would light up blue and so will the roof since the material on mine is light grey it would reflect the blue nice. So any ways i just wired it up just to see what posistion i should put the light up and so i left the wires uncovered. When i stepped out the car to check it out i closed the door and all of a sudden all the lights turn off, i discovered that ther wires touched ground. So i tested each light separetly and they seemd to work if i just hook them up directly on the battery. And if i hook them up the the controll box and the on/off switch they dont work. The on/ff switch has a fuse and i cant seem to find it anywhere and the wire box where u connect the wires
was fried. So my friend said we could just hook up all the positives and negatives and hook it up directly to the on/off switch, and hook that up directly to the battery. So is that a good idea?

Here is a pic of that saturday.. its a camara phone pic so bear with me. The pic doesnt do justice but you get the idea...

honestly, get rid of them. Not only are they tacky, but illegal to drive with as well. Save yourself the embarassment.

maybe if you cant really really find one... just go buy another one and then just take the fuse and return it.... thats the best and fastest way....

I never tried bb or cc. I tried autozone and they told me to go to radio shack because the man said the wire inside was too skinny. Thanks though im going to go today to check it out

Much love.

If it's a fuse www.part-expess.com will sell it. If you want something locally I've found that Pep Boys has the widest selection of parts for a chain store. A third source would be any custom stereo store ... we've got about a thousand of them in the LA area ... I'm sure Houston has them too.
