I just called Iron Man customs.... its 3600 installed for the kit. he needs atleast 10 guys to pay BEFORE he even starts his R&D car. The top takes 4-5 days to complete. He said right now he only has 3 guys that have paid.... so that means he needs 7 more before he even goes through with the project. I asked him if he had anypictures he could send and he said, "well i havent even started an R&D car yet, I wont have pictures untill i have 10 buyers who have paid" so thats the latest..... mxjosh711

There are MANY better places for a person to let $3600 sit around for months. Try fiber-optics.

Maybe but I don't think that they will cut that much of the roof off b/c it would make it harder to reinforce the structure of the car after that. If you saw the Mustangs they do they actually don't cut that much roof off and there is a bit of Lip of the back and front. Just my $.02

I'll try to find the pic of the mustang...

Hah no wonder they have been sheepish to answer direct questions about why they havent posted pics. That's ridiculous that after a month of teasing this post and being deceiving we finally get the full story. Plenty of people have taken risks on their Z's but to expect 10 people to pay $3600 JUST to have him guinea pig a car up while they all hope it turns out anywhere near what they wanted is insane. They obviously arent interested in making money because considering the interest in here they could have played this much differently. Just lost a potenital customer in me.

My 2 cents

Oh and judging by the above pics it just doesnt seem like its going to flow like a Supra. Seems like a chunk got cut out by accident

I am by no means a structural engineer, but I think the roadster has plenty of designed coverage in case of an accident. I have no idea what chopping the roof on a coupe will do, but I am sure it will negatively alter the ability of the windshield and rear/hatch to support the car in the event of a roll over. How much this will be affected is for some engineer to figure out.

So it looks as if everyone here on this thread has been led on, including a site vendor, and the owner of the car.

Can someone post up "Iron Man Customs" payment info, so I can send them payment right away.

I'm sure lots of people will be sending them deposit money soon..........

Not! It's enough for me to see if you and the owner have been led on and told lies, they wouldn't touch my car.
