Some @#$hole backed into me in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Come to find out he does not have insurance. If anyone have a spare bumper and pass side fender that willing to sell cheap. I live in tampa and am looking for someone in driving distance. Thanks

 

Insurance or not, shouldn't he just pay whatever it's going to cost you to repair the damage?

 

I don't live near Tampa but i'd be willing to part with my front bumper once my kit is on (it might be on now i'm on the way to the shop after i take a shower). It looks like the same color code you have but it does have a small amount of paint chipped off from rocks on the left side. If you're interested and you want it repainted i could see about the shop that's doing my kit to do it. Chips are on the right side. The left side of the bumper is fine.

 

i'm sure if he can't afford insurance he doesn't have the money to give to me...

is the headlight ok?

 

Something like that happened to my other car. I told my insurance and they got the money from the guy. No raises in premium, no marks, nada. Even though he didnt have insurance they wrote the guy some nasty letters about legally taking action against him. End of story I got a check from him.

 

yeah the headlight is ok. my insurance company is going to go after him and who knows how that will go but i have to come up with the money up front.

 

I live in Memphis, TN. When i get in to work Monday i'll see if i can ship something that big overnight for free.

 

how much do you want for the bumper.

 

I don't know what a decent price is. How about $200 if i can ship it from work?

thanks everyone but i was able to find some parts locally for pretty cheap. it's going to the body shop on monday and i can't wait.
