Default ebay side markers (reflectors)

Has anyone bought side marker reflectors off of ebay like these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-05...spagenameZWDVW

I am not going here just to try to save a buck, but i also like the looks of these. They are also different looking than NISSAN OEM ones you can get.

My question to anyone that have used these. Are they good quality? Should I stay away or ?

Thanks

I bought stuff like that off of ebay for previous cars, the quality is good. It's just 2 molded pieces of plastic, how bad can it be. I used them on a VW Jetta and an Accord, never had any problems. Look at the shipping cost, they are making a few $ there too. I saw a nice set of black diamond ones for the Z on there!

Get the authentic ones. Those will look like *** when you get them on the car.

The biggest thing that screams RICE is poor quality plastic parts that people use to replace the good-quality OEM parts.

Ebay stuff is hit-or-miss. Personally, I'd give it a shot.

BTW, how ridiculously priced are the OEM's?

$60 for 2 pieces of plastic is more absurd than the $50 Nismo oil cap!

I bought clear side markers from ebay and they are perfect. If you want I can lookup the name of the business.

This is who I bought from. They are pretty high quality just like the pics show, however the pics make them look a little more chromey, on the car they look more white.

difference is that the ebay reflectors I played with didnt really reflect...they were just a diamond pattern with a chrome vaccum coating on it, and a clear lens over it.

they looked cheap to me and I saw a few places on mine that werent totally sealed as they should have been.

nissan reflectors(atleast for the 03-05 actually had the reflector pattern on the outer lens. the back was smooth. infact I took a set apart, and painted the backing black hoping it would smoke them out. put it back together and you couldnt tell I had painted it at all. it was really wierd, cause they arent opaque either, cause LED light passes through just fine... they are a mystery lol.

i figure your talking about $20-$30 more for the real ones, get the real ones. now if your talking hundreds, go for the fake. but we arent talking a whole lot of money here to begin with.

I bought some smoked reflectors on e-bay and they are perfectly fine. There is no way to tell that you didn't waste an extra $60 on "oem" ones. They fit great, they look great. Go ahead and get them. However, i bought them from an ebayer for like $7.99 plus something like $13 shipping.

smoked nissan reflectors are like 25bucks.
