Default Cost to have a new bumper cover painted and installed?

I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark idea of how much it costs to have this kind of work done by a body shop? My car was "bumped" while parked on the street in the city and the driver's side of the bumper cover was cracked.

Is this a $500 job, $1k, $2k? I am planning to trade in the Z, so I don't want to put too much money into the car and I'm debating whether to try and trade it in with the damage or spend the money to fix it. It would probably be easier for me to just buy someone's Silverstone bumper cover and bolt it on myself but they seem hard to come by locally.

Heh, I'm not sure anymore I was going to trade it on a used F355 Spyder or 996 turbo but then I started thinking about the Elise which looks awesome and is inexpensive enough that I could avoid financing. But then I put my summer wheels back on the Z, detailed it (apart from the bumper), and I'm liking the car again. I'm fickle and get bored with the Z, or more its there are shortcomings I'd love to correct with mods but when I look at all the mods I'd have to do to make it the way I want it, it makes more sense to just move up the vehicle food chain. Anyway I could fill a whole nother thread with that discussion. Now I'm on the fence but I do need to fix the bumper or replace it with a kit or CF or something...it looks like crap right now.

Anyway, $300-500 is reasonable. I just checked KBB and I suppose with the broken bumper the Z would be considered to be in "Fair" or "Poor" condition, so $500 to bump up the value by $5k is a no brainer. I've just never paid for body work out of pocket so had no idea what to expect.
