I recently purchased the nismo style spoiler and front lip. My car is PPW with a Carbon Fiber Hood. I think personally it looks good black, but im getting mixed opinions. I thought i would get the opinion of fellow forum members.

 

So your car is going to be PPW/CF/Black?

Yea, I'm gonna call the 2 color per car limit rule. Paint the lip and wing white or get the CF wing and lip. The two tone is nice but remember TWO-TONE.

Paint the lip and spoiler PPW. I would have suggested painting the CF hood PPW too, but it looks like a normal hood that is made out of CF. If it was a CF hood with vents in it, I would have said to paint it PPW as well.

 

People who have accidents and limited dollars will buy body parts, and put them on the car themselves. They never seem to be able to afford to get the panels painted. So the car is several different colors.

If the lip and wing were CF then I would say keep it like it is, but black, CF, and PWW are too much.

 

Hmm from the opinions so far, I might as well just sell the lip and spoiler and go CF. I like the two tone better then all PPW. Anyone interested in nismo style lip + spoiler?

I would paint the spoiler. AND the lip if it were up to me.

 

LOL.....he said Panda bear on wheels. That's the $h1t right there. I would two-tone it out with CF just to call it my panda bear on wheels.

how about painting ur cf hood in black that way it'll have just black and white and i think that looks nicer

 

l once thought about paintignthe mirrors and roof black like the AMG E55. Just got over it. I thought it might look more racy but with good taste.

About your car I like the lip and the spoiler black. Not sure about the hood htough.

I kind of agree with davidv on the panels. You want a finished look to the car that denotes you have taste. Not painting the hood can be interpreted as I didn't have the money to do so.

A Varis air duct could look cool in that setup.

 

paint spoiler n lip. leave hood cf! i have ppw z. i think cf hood and black or gun metal wheels with a polished lip look good.

I got an idea...what if you smoked your taillights. How would you Z look then? Can we have a rear shot of your Z showing the black wing on the white?

 

i would go for option 3 and get a cf lip instead :P
