the problem with you guys color being off is that they are mixing the paint to oem NEW spec. Weather conditions, time, sun and all that will make your color change over time. Best thing to do is to have them custom mix it to the color of your cars body.

You might be right, i know my body shop took the color code of the car and then mixed it. Mine might be a comb of things. Maybe not enough pearl coats. I think they only put down one coat of pearl. May have to do two or maybe even three coats of pearl. Dont know how many coats the factory put on of the pearl. But maybe in 6months, after i do some pratice ill repaint it myself. But for now its no big deal for me. When i do repait myself, im going to paint it while its on the car. Ok im off to get my old bumper and take it to storage.

Benny yeah I know what happened. I'm just frustrated by my oversight.
Well my car colors look just like volk350z's with that kinda color match.

Well i am putting it together now. The match is really off. It looks like a two tone car now. The kit looks great. I am pretty disappointed with the overall result as it is. The only thing my shop forgot to do was clear coat the black on my rear bumper. They assumed i wanted a matte black which i didnt. My wing also chipped already cause it fell onto the ground. Personally i think my car looks retarded and tacky with this two tone crap paint job now but the kit does look good..

Well for better or worse here it is without the wing.
I also need to mount the center part of the rear bumper onto the bracket of the car so I'll need to be creative and figure that out...

Rear fitment has some issues right now because I used the OEM bracket so the sides of the rear are flush but it wont sit perfectly around the headlight area...Hard to explain..pretty much means there are some gaps in one area on both sides near the tail lights.

I'll post some better pictures and more angles after I mount the wing and get my bracket attached for my rear bumper.

Stopped by my body shop, they are going to re-shot the front. We think it just needs one or two more coats of pearl. They are also going to leave it on the car, so they can compair it when they paint.

I just wanted to put the word out there again that my body shop did a very very good job overall. For not having the car or a gas cap, the paint match was as good as could be expected. You can tell from the pictures that the quality of work was also very very decent though not perfect or show car quality up close. There are some minor areas that were not completely color sanded and some minor paint imperfections. My rear also has some uneveness to it due to lack of extra prep work but it's minor. I have no idea how his work compares to M1, Mob, or Auto Explosion when they do work for regular customers, but I do know that when Auto Explosion has issues with kits, they take it to this guy to help them out.

All in all, check out my body shop - Siggy's Auto Body in Gardena, CA. His prices really kick some major ***, he is really honest, and he does all the major work himself. He didn't even care to have me refer anyone to him and his shop doesn't even have a name on it. He was able to paint the kit however I wanted and did what I asked at no extra charge. I will definitely go through him in the future but I'll definitely bring a gas cap in the future....Just tell him I sent you.

Ken @ Shine can attest to how much I dreaded the body shop portion of this project. I just want to let you guys in So Cal know of a shop you can go to who will at worst do an "ok" level job at great prices. There is no fear he will cheat you or give you a Mob Works nightmare. He uses PPG paint and his shop doesn't look like much but he does all the work himself with only 2 helpers. Again if you have no hookups and are doing a job for the first time or want to save some $$$$, check him out. He will not disappoint.
