IMO, Honda S2K and Element antennas are both functional and look much better than the stock antenna.

The Honda S200 antennae fit perfectly IMO. And the radio reception is perfect!!!

This is the one I was referring to above:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-S...spagenameZWDVW

If you look at the pic of it on the Z in the auction, you can see the base doesn't stick out like the S2K antenna does. Just ordered myself one.

I don't care for the ultra-stubby look; may as well shave the antenna and put a stealth one elsewhere if you're going that route, IMO.

I'm considering going the XM route myself but I was thinking of relocating the antenna on my rear strutbar & shaving the old location. I've seen several folks install their XM antenna on that bar as well & they said they get pretty good reception. Plus I think it would make the car look super clean without any antennas sticking out & you wouldn't have to worry about kids stealing them as well.

Im in a city so I can not say everywhere is great but I have not lost any
reception at all.
Also IMO if you cut it all the way down it will look cheesey if you can't
clean up the center , my setup look's exactly like the oem minus 7 inch's.

Just got my JDM IS300 style antenna I ordered from Ebay:
http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQs...echmotorsports

Fits perfect, base matches up perfectly (does not stick out at all like S2K/Element antenna) and reception seems as good as stock antenna. Very happy with it.

I have this antenna too. It is probably one of the best fitting antennas and I too have not noticed any reception loss. If you like the look of the s2000 antenna, then the jdm is300 antenna on ebay is a much better alternative.
