They are semi-hard. They can flex a bit if you bend it by hand, but it does not move or flex while driving at all.

No idea on that one. Looks a bit shorter. Hard to tell on fitment of the base or reception quality...

Perrin short antenna is awesome! I have no reception issues whatsoever and it fits the base as though it were an OEM...no "hanging off the edge syndrome". What's even better is that Vivid Racing gave it to me for free as my order for Greddy sides was delayed by a couple of days

Which Antenna is that??

I have HD Radio and it sounds just as good as CDs, a tad bit better than Sirrius. That's why I don't want to lose alot of reception.

Off eBay. 2" I think. The picture was meant to show the fit against the base, which a lot of people used to ask about.

Reception is good in town, but I live in south Kendall (about 17 miles south, towards Homestead) and then I start to loose some stations. But the BOSE sound is not that good anyway, so I listen mostly to CDs and my iPod...

I have the S2K antenna, and couldn't be happier. Reception is just as good as oem, hangs out of the base by like 1-2mm, so you won't see the difference until you look up close at it. The whole thing looks OEM.

here's a couple of faraway shots when my car was stock:

I'm honestly not trying to be a smart ***, but do people still listen to the radio? Everytime I turn the radio on I hear the same exact few songs.

CD's ftw.

Perrin's website (just went there) doesn't offer a shorty specifically for the Z. Which one did you Perrin guys use?

I have the perrin one, but it seems to have faded in color. Don't know if it was just me as well but the reception was not great, when it rained, it was all static.
