Default Take It Off

I just got my 2006 Enth.

I came home..drove it into the garage...and took them off.

Have you ever seen a sports car with mudflaps??

If they were desireable, wouldn't Porsche, Aston Martin, etc. make them standard equipment???

I think not.

Your not going to be happy the next time you look at that area of your car. The mud guards help prevent stone chips. If you do any highway driving or any driving above 50 mph you might want to leave them on.

The front ones do help with rock chips; I can tell by how the front edge of them look right behind the tires. My rears were not as bad when I took them off and without them extending down behind the rear wheels, there's really nothing for rocks to fly up and hit (except the cars behind me... ). Even without the fronts, rocks would mostly just come up and hit the underside of the sideskirts, where chips will be out of sight.

I'll be taking my fronts off soon to put Nismo side skirts on; I plan on putting some clear bra material on the leadiong edge right behind the front wheels so they don't end up looking like my splash gaurds.
