Ok, it's been three days and it is driving me nuts!
I can't stand the rattle of the seatbelt when it is not in use.

Go ahead and call me lazy, but I don't want to unbuckle myself, lean over and fiddle with the buckle to get it in it's holder to shut it the hell up.
I can't stand the clunking.

So, this is what I'm thinking...

We get sheets of material... something similar to a mouse pad that is adhesive backed. Then you simply cut and stick it to the area on the pillar that the buckle clunks around.

My Dodge 2500 deisel had these pads... don't know why Nissan opted to go with the retarded "clip" idea.

Has anyone ever seen something like this?

Well, I guess that is a big fat 'no".
But, I still think it would be a good idea and I will try to poke around and find something that would work well.

double faced tape and a mouse pad... use a black one would be my guess. your going to need to put it wherever the actual clip hits.

another different ide was to use velcro, same concept, but youd put the soft side onto the actual clip. a better idea maybe, but youd then have velcro on your clip.

the choice is yours, both options should cost about 50cents at walmart.
