I was thinking about doing the same. How did you do it? and it didnt make the rear bumper flimsy?

I masked the bumper off with a piece of pinstiping tape then free hand dremel with a diamond cutoff disk along the lines i made with the tape.
And no. it didnt make it more flimsy, if anything its more solid b/c it doesnt have this wobbly piece hangin off anymore.

While it looks interesting, cutting out that "rear diffuser" piece on the rear bumper makes what's left of the rear bumper is like attaching a parachute to the back of your car...on the street you won't notice it but it's going to slow you down at freeway speeds...

I fail to see how this is so^^^.... The exhaust is in the way and if anything theres less restriction for the air thats passing underneath from the front to the rear of the car.
screws ^^ drill pilot holes wherever u decide to put holes on the side skirts. then drill corresponding holes in the frame of the car. then fasten it to the frame with a screw, but one that has a sharp point. about a 1/4" long screw.
