Default INGS Replica Kit Fitment Pics

So I decided once again to change the look of my Z. Last week I dropped her off at M1 autobody do install.....I don't know if its a good price ($2,000) or not but to install the entire kit, custom fit it, and paint. Oh yeah I had my wing installed and painted as well. Due to the fact that its a replica there is quite a bit of fitment issues. I just know that there are a lot of you on this forum with questions about the replica fitment so i thought this would be the best way first hand to show you what you are GENERALLY dealing with in a replica....Now Im not saying this holds true for ALL replicas but the vast majority sold on the west coast, to my understanding, are all pretty similar. Some may say, "why not pay that money for a authentic kit" however this kit, authentic, listed on Intense motorsports webpage at $3,095 on sale from $3400.....unpainted and un-installed....Plenty of people have had tremendous success with replicas, just ask one of the VETS ie. Bubble just to name one (sorry to throw you under the bus there cheif lol...Long story short, I just hope this answers some of the fitment issues with replica kits......darnit the pics arent working Ill post em when I get home in 1 hour...i know i know pointless without pics

I also bought the Ing's LX half kit from Exterem Dimension and it had horrible fitment issues. I had to cut and grind in some places fill and extend other spots. But the overall out come was great. Paid $400 for the kit did all the work my self and had it painted along with my shave front bumper and rear bumper for $400 so a total of $800 was well worth it for me. Keep up posted

change your front tire profile before you crack the front bumper.

no. Like if you're using 255x30x19 then change to 255x35x19 or raise your car up a bit since the front REALLY low and no matter how carefull or 45 degree you try, you still scrap the front bumper. I did many times before.

wow.. your paying $2000 to install and paint a body kit? Holy cow... that sounds like a ripoff to me man. Ive paid under 600 to paint and install AND slightly modify ill fitting kits on cars before. Hell.. i paid $1700 do to a TOTAL color change on my IS300 inside and out and it was top notch work.

$100 to $200 a piece, you can change it as many times as you can. Wouldn't that be fun? hehehe

yeaa. but personally i hate fitting and prepping kits. it takes allot of time that i dont like to spend on such a lame task, but hopefully this kit will fit allright, but img not getting my hopes up. it looks allot like a replica i bought some time back which had some pretty crappy fitment, ill take some pics and stuff next weekend when i start the work on it to show exactly where it doesnt fit.
