Okay just got off the phone with MSA: Here is the pricing for the OEM burnt orange stuff:

shift ****: $144
ebrake: $164
steering wheel: TBA

I bought the only ebrake assembly they have but they still have 1 shift **** if anyone is interested. They will have the steering wheel soon as well. Their number is (800)633-6331. The stuff is not listed on the web site yet.

Do you know if they also have the 2-tone stuff? I don't want to get full Burnt Orange...

Ok, MSA is often overlooked, little talked about here, but they do have the goods.

Whoever is keeping track of this stuff, keep us posted. If this doesn't work out, I think I have a place that will import it for us, hopefully directly from DF.

The last convo I had with MSA was that DF is an exchange program. Obviously meaning you send them your parts, you get them back. Which = serious down time that I don't think anyone here is interested in.

MSA was suppose to approach them (DF) about buying those items mentioned, but I haven't heard anymore about it.

Amit, have your source contact DF and lets see what we can get started. I'm still interested in the steering wheel and e-brake.

Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have been looking for another steering wheel (xtra) so I can send it to this place, provided they give a good quote. I already have the orange leather.
http://www.american-stitches.com/ams...ringwheels.htm

But every time I bid on ebay, some ahole bids too high.

Yup, I just went ahead and email them. Since they are a Japanese company, hopefully they can work something out with DF. But unfortunately you're saying that DF produces based on an exchange, so I don't know how it's going to work out...but we'll see!

Good find! I'd like to see close-ups of their work. Here is their 2-tone steering wheel and shift ****:

Actually I had my steering wheel sent there a while ago. It has been sitting there for over a month. They don't have burnt orange color leather, and wanted me to purchase a hide which was like $250. I am still trying to decided whether I wanted to spend the $ on the extra leather. The price I was quote was around $275 to wrap in 2 tone. PM me if you guys are up to split the cost of the leather. Thanks!!

I already have a half hide BO leather. So they wanted $275 with or without the leather?

Ok, they want $275 plus the $250 for the hide. Tooooooo much money I think.

Back in November of 2004 - wooo - Datsun Freeway quoted me basically $500 shipped outright without exchange.

Man, I will have to look locally for someone who does this. Anyone have a source for the steering wheel (OEM)? Can't find it in the online Nissan catalogs - everything else (air bag, etc), not the actual wheel.

You can buy a yard of BO leather for like $70-$80 from leatherseats.com, and it matches perfectly.

Yeah they charge quite a bit to rewrap but I think they do a pretty decent job. The whole thing would cost somewhere around $500 assuming you can buy a steering wheel for about $100 and a yard of leather. I got my steering wheel used from someone on the forum. Just keep looking!

No problem. The main guy I spoke with was Bill Coon, he was very helpful.

I'm gonna hold out and see if anything materializes from the DF stuff.
