Those prices really are high but that is more or less due to the fact that we have to provide the leather also. I have been told about their Car Club Discount that usually can save you $25-50 Dollars on an item or items depending on the quantity that we are going to actually need. Ryan got me in touch with Steve who actually would be the one to determine how much of a discount they can actually provide again depending on how many will actually get something done.

***They will provide the Leather if we can give them 10 or more names and hopefully half of those names will need more than just the Steering wheel. They will also two tone the Steering Wheel, Gear Shift & e-brake. The cannot do the top of the side armrest (if u call it that) but a shop around the corner can but that is another story.

I am going to use them for mine but am going to wait on you guys response before I go out and buy my own leather lol. I hope we can gather enough to do this !

Again he will give us an actual estimate if we can get him some accurate numbers !
Since they already have my extra steering wheel, I will willing to go in on the deal with you. So all we need is 8 more people

Copy that - Sounds Great. I kinda want my seats to be two-toned also. I like those nice seats I see in Some GTs they look wicked with that burnt Orange I believe in the middle. I wonder if they can use the same concept on my stock leather seats. Guess I gotta ask lol !

8 more....

1. gt3 (they already have his wheel)

Hahah...don't worry! I actually forget to follow up sometimes since I'm trying to do a bunch of things at once!

And you know what, I feel for you man. Everything you have done for your car ends up taking a lot longer than it should. But let me say, you have done a remarkable job planning, creating, and piecing together your car. And when it's finally "complete", it'll be one of the most bad-*** cars on the site!

I went to MSA yesterday to pick up my ebrake handle, they happened to have gotten the OEM BO steering wheel in as well. I bit the bullet and end up buying the steering wheel as well. I would like to have gotten the 2 tone version, but I just couldn't resist...Here is the link to some pics of the installed parts:

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggg, are they getting anything else in? Did they say?

So we know it's not a "swapping" situation.

Well the only hope we have I guess is that it doesn't seem like we have to send them our OEM parts as was first suggested. I just can't believe the vendor hasn't been more proactive with this. I know I among a few others has our wallets open, just wishing someone would take my money and get some of the two tone DF stuff.

If someone gets the BO steering wheel and wants to sell their old one to me for a resonable price (so I can send one to be done), please PM me.

I know one thing, I am going to try doing the leather myself. I have a spare shift ****, and the leather, so I am going to see I well I can do. The prices for these items are so high that I am going to give it a shot. Thanks for keeping me in mind.

Prices are killing me. I got a quote from one firm someone on here recommended for carbon fiber wrapping, this was to CF my Cobra gas cap, they quoted me $375. Again, I might have to try it myself for that kind of money. But maybe I am just cheap, but it seems high to me.

Man i just got two replacement Shift ***** and thinking of letting them do one just to see their quality of work. I will just need to get the leather since it seems this group thing is not going anywhere.

Yeah Gringott I need another steering wheel also - i actually just started really doing some things to my ride and the interior is next. I just hate the thought that I will never get my hands on the BO Roadster Net Seats.

Malic350 - I love those seats (roadster net seats) also. I have BO aftermarket seat covers. I was thinking that if I had an upholstery shop insert the centers (carbon fiber looking cloth) of the stock cloth seats, it would give some of the look of the roadster seats. I have to have some work done on my seat cover anyway, the outside edge of the drivers seat has taken some large amount of abuse from me getting in and out, esp the lower outside edge. If I find a good source for steering wheels, I'll let you know. BTW, you in Army? If so, thanks for your service. I am a retired 20 year Infantryman.

Yeah, I considered those BO regular leather seats but those Roadster Net seats are very eye catching. Would be very interested in seeing what you do to yours though. May be a nice alternative since chances are slim to none in obtaining those BO net ZR seats. So far as the steering wheel Thanks man I would really appreciate it.

I am actually Air Force - Resv was activated last year. And u have 20 years !!! And in Infantry !!! No, no Thank you for your Service Sir !!!

Your welcome, and yes, those roadster seats are the best by far, very different from any other seats I have seen. Take care of yourself.
