Evo-r Front lip as arrived.
Well the Evo-r front lip has arrived. First impressions were decent. The lip came from a forum member and was packed somewhat carelessly. Just bubblewrapped with no other support. The lip itself looks great, Only problems being that during installation you cant install it from the center first as instructed on evo-r website because of the tight fitment, you have to put, one end on, then the center, and then muscle the last end on. One sad thing about this is that during oil filter changes the lip has to be removed. so not looking forward to that. upon closer inspection i saw that the surface of the lip is coverd in some bondo type material, that had cracked underneith and the sides. Well i dont really want to go through the hassle of bothering the guy who sold it to me, nor jay at evo-r so i just mixed up some resin, and hopefully itll dry nice and sturdy and the little cracks wont grow larger. The fitment is decent, there are about 1/4 inch gaps aroudn the side markers and about 2 mm gaps on both sides of the center piece that hugs the center piece on the bumper. Well I hope it all turns out ok it really is a great looking lip, and here are some pics!

I thought about getting that lip for a long time....I really like the look of it. But ultimately...the connected diffuser part made me decide against it. Didn't wanna have to take it off everytime i needed to change oil, etc....
You plan on painting it all Silverstone...or leaving the center part black?

it goes way under to the under skid plate. its a very nice lip and it works from what ive read but this is gonna be such a *****. perhaps ill cut and make an access panel instead of worrying about removing it because i DONT want to **** with it once its bolted on.
