Nice pic, I like the painted door handles....
I've got an 06 MB Enthusiast and was going to get the windows tinted next weekend. Probably 20% on the sides and 5% in the back....... what % tints are on your windows (just to give me an idea)
Thanks

You know, seeing that makes me realize how much the brushed aluminum handles adds to the Z. I always thought they were a bit funky, but now I see the light. Thanks!

Jeff91ta, I have 20% all around. I will post some pics today with the windows up so you can see how it looks. I still have the silver handles, so if I want to change, then I can just swap them. I was thinking of powdercoating the wheels black sometime this summer.

I think that with the design of the door handles, they look better unpainted. If they were flush handles like most other cars have, then yes it would look odd to have brushed aluminum handles on a black car. But as it stands now, I'd have to say leave them unpainted.

Total for the extra handles, and painting came out to about $230. I think the handles do look good on other colors, but they stand out too much on black. Same goes for the clear markers. Other cars you don't tend to notice the amber as much as you do on black.
