Ok fellas before you go and start flaming me and telling me "use the search button, blah blah blah".....well I did and that S**t is not working idunno if its the server or what. Anyways here goes; Im trying to finally install my stock spoiler. Is it necessary to drill or how else can i go about it to put it on? And if the case is that I do have to drill, id rather take it to a local shop and have them deal with it. Any help, suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated , and once again the search button isnt working for me idunno so please bear with me since I need to get this done tomorrow
Thanks fellas.

the factory uses 4 holes. two outside bolts and 2 inside clips.
ok but the easiest way is to just use 3m tape and not drill holes. you can get away it 100% on the oem spoiler, i just took my OEM off and the 3m tape i used to put it on with was still holfding it very tight, i had a bosy shop srill two outside holes but i really didnt need to looking back. so if you want an easy way out just use double sided tape. if it seems to be loose and your not happy with it you can always drill but i would tape before drill.
refer to these pics in my thread to find out where to drill holes if you decide to

i would say yes if you use enough. that stuff is very strong and the oem spoiler is small so it can hold it no problems. but if you feel you need to use bolts just have those two holes drilled i have the red arrows pointed to. they are already there from the factory you just need to drill through the top of the hatch,
there have been alot of people on this forum that have used 3m tape for the OEM spoiler and i have personally never to see a "OMG my Spoiler fell off" thread.

no problem, its cheaper and faster than paying a bodyshop. and you can always go back and drill later if you feel it getting loose. but if you buy the good kind in the roll with the red backing, its good stuff
