Ok before I commit to any thing, since I'm out of the country I need to specify a delivery date to make sure I'm arround to get it. It will be like the 1st week in Oct. Hows that or is the timeline stretched farther out than that? And with the group buy whats the price drop for the # of total individuals who've ordered or is the price the same?

Thanks

I'll let Tommy comment on time frame. I will say it's somewhat dependant on if Do-Luck finally says/does what they promise and have a container come in this week to the Do-Luck-USA facility. It's a shame that the actual sourcing of the hood is probably more problematic than the manufacturing of the replica.

I think the price is about as low as it's gonna get. I'm sure if we had 50+ buying this hood like he has in his Nismo V2 bumper GB, the price would be cheaper. I don't forsee this happening so I think the price is as good as it's gonna get.

I do know after my conversations with Tommy that, the hood is gonna go up $200-$300 after the group buy is over.

Question do luck hybrid replica

Ok, so i'm relatively new to your site, having read extensively this thread I would now like to know if I can get in on the hood? If so what is the current projected end cost for the options 1 thru 4? Carbon fiber would be my wish however not sure whether 3 or 4 works best. Also what else does/has this genius produced and what is still available? Is there a product and price list? My appologies if I'm asking obvious stuff but as previously stated I'm the new kid on the block.

Replied to your PM.

And Tommy's post above mine, he means hood not bumper.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

No problem. It's hard sometimes keeping up with all the threads at both tech and motoring.

After this GB you guys plan to charge upwards of $1000 for a replica hood? That seems really high to me, maybe if it was dry carbon like the authentic.

Well the authentic in CF lists for around $1,700. Keep in mind that's with no vents.

I'm not sure, and don't know if we'd ever know. When I was trying to source the authentic hood from Do-Luck, they either wouldn't or couldn't tell me an exact measurement of how much the center is raised. Believe me, I tried.

All they would say, is that "it's raised in the center".

That sounds like a typical response from Jonathan @ Do-Luck.
