So all this comes to I make contact with my guy and while he's in Japan, he calls Do-Luck-Japan for me and starts asking questions.

The guy in Japan says he hasn't heard that story (damaged molds) and goes on to say, that if the product isn't in stock, it takes them 1-2 weeks to make new product.

Definitly not the 10 months I've been waiting.

Soooooooooooooooooo..............................something sounds fishy to me.

So I decide to do a test.

I get on the phone and call 75% of the "Authorized Dealers" here in the USA. They ALL told me the SAME thing. They are all waiting on product to arrive. They have all these orders placed with Do-Luck-USA. They are being told the same thing, the container is arriving in 4 weeks. Then the real shocker:

They tell me that no dealer HAS GOTTEN ANY 350z product this ENTIRE year! Can you f'ing believe that?

I couldn't, so I talked to my guy on Fri. (I told him all of this about no dealers recieveing any product) and he was gonna call again on Mon. I haven't heard anything from him yet.

So my thoughts through all this are that something is up with Do-Luck-Japan. The guy my contact spoke with, was either an idiot or telling a huge lie to somehow protect the company from loosing face. I suspect Do-Luck-USA is just trying to protect the "parent" company.

Those are my thoughts.

Hopefully I'll get a response today.

Tommy/punksterz626 mentioned he had someone who could get the hood in about 25-30 days, so we're exploring that route as well.

Whew...........I thought I said short story.

With that said, Do-Luck-Japan had no explanation when I (someone speaking Japanese for me) asked if there were not production problems, then why have no dealers I've contacted received product.
