Default Air Conditioner - Good Enough?

Since I picked up my Z in December and live in the northeast (NY- it's 15 degrees right now), I was wondering if the AC works good.
Some mags stated that there were not enough vents in the car. If you live were you are using AC, tell us:

1-Is AC acceptable?
2-Does engine temp increase when AC is on?

Thanks

Ive been quite satisfied with its function, tho on the contrary, I heard that the Z could create a bit of a whirlwind in the car it was so strong, and it can, its realllly powerful, and cold. theres also lots of vents, including those in the door...

as for raising the temp of the engine, not sure, never looked. normally the temp is a little south of the middle anyway, but it is the winter.

We have had some 80s days here in central Texas.....AC works just fine. I'll let you know at 101 this summer.

I got mine on 9/6/02 and we still had temps in the low 90's for a while. The AC was fine and the temp gauge didn't move from just under a 1/2. Keep in mind, I was still breaking it in. Ask me again when its 105 degrees.

Cool

The AC in the Z rocks!

I live in Phoenix and got mine in September (still hot here then) and was very happy with how cold the AC is and how fast it cools the car.

I've used AC a few times & it works fine. Being a small cabin the vents work just fine.

The temps have not been high enough to test what happens to the temp gauge.

I have actually been very happy with it. Doesn't seems like enough air, but it does do the trick.
