Can You Powder Coat the Door Handles
My powder coating guy thinks the handles are not solid metal, and he does not want to put them in the oven

they are plastic.... better off painting. ....put them in the oven and when you open it back up you wont like what you see....lol

Seriously tho, if you don't want to use your own, see if you could get some from a junkyard ... they might look pretty cool if chromed too ...

The handles are some sort of super plastic with a metalic paint (?) on top.

Take the handles to a paint shop and tell them what you want. They will suggest the proper technique.
