Once he had my parts it only took 2-3 days TOTAL to sand, prime, paint and clear 3 times. The paint is PPG paint with the same paint code as whats on your car. It will match without a doubt.

Update:

Brian says 150.00 for everything you see in my post. Just send him the parts, and tell him your paint code. THATS IT.

Man, that is nice! Even though I have Super black, I want to get my engine area painted Daytona blue. Just one question, can the paint hold up against the heat that builds up under the hood?

Yes it will hold up well. Consider this.......the inside of your engine bay is painted with the same paint ANYWAY

Default I don't think....

That this car could have found a better home. I got a laser red g coupe after I got rid of the beamer. I might get your boy to hook me up.

would he sell me just the paint / clear coat? I would like to do this myself but need to find an exact match for brickyard.

Anyone know of a place in DFW that can match this color?

Check out the date on this original post. This is MUCH before the Z engine plate was made.

I have a gallery of updated pics https://my350z.com/gallery/albup61

At cost I think it was 110 for me. Keep in mind poor Brian has lots of labor on these.

Wadd,

What brand of paint did you use? I have some high heat paint that I bought at Pep Boys for $4.99 that is called engine enamel. This stuff might be crap? I was thinking about getting my engine cover & Battery cover etc. painted Red and whant to make sure it is done right. Will Brian paint for a fee?

Alex
