Jay and I might be releasing the steering wheel trims...

I have spent a few days trying out different carbon fibre materials with different CF treatments (different resins)... we really need to use something SOFT that can be bent around those edges on the steering wheel column trims... The final testing pieces feel like "leather" in my hand but it is actually carbon fibre... so you will get an idea on how soft it feels...

The plus side is that all the edges will not cut you when you have your hands all over the steering wheel, they blend in with the rest of the steering wheel very nicely and smoothly, but then you can feel the CF weaves if you run your fingers across those pieces, don't know if it is a good or bad. I reckon it feels quite nice though as it shows that they are real CF pieces....

Here are the testing pics that I took tonight and will try out other type of CF materials (more expensive ones) to see the results... then I will get the approval from Jay to sell these parts... Need to make sure the quality is up there when you guys receive them!

Oh, btw, I get those those trims made in darker/lighter Silver, Gold or Black colour if they are ready to go...
