so...whats the point of it? isnt it supposed to be for when you park your car on a dark alley or something like that?

Rear fog light. Cuts through fog better since it's brighter. Euro requirement on all cars.

in europe all cars are required to have a rear fog. Its basically a bright tail light so other drivers can see you in bad weather conditions. And it fills that stupid blank space next to my heated seats

I've had one for awhile, they work well in very bad whether, I like it because theres not many Z's in the US. with them.

It's good, I've had so many people come up and say, you have a stoplight hungup, you've got a burnt out back up light, you've got a tail light out. Do they not see the single red lens.

Thats standard on the cars in the UAE. The rear fog light swith is, as someone has already said, on the light stalk on the steering column.
