Default Window tinting problems?

I want to get my windows tinted. But the auto window feature(lowering slightly when the door is open) might cause a problem when the film is applied. I know many of you Z owners got the windows tinted. How is this done?

Actually. I just got my windows tinted today. It shouldn't be a problem, you could do 1 of two things, have the door sill removed, and get your windows tinted that way. Or you can just keep that black button on the door pushed down so the window slides up while it's being tinted. Just make sure they dry it pretty well before letting it slide back down.

actually number 2 still isnt quite right, they need to still get a little lower than that or it could peel. so what you want to do is pull the seal away a little and go a little deeper still.
