Default Rear smoked tailight overlays--->

What is the deal with these? I think they give a nice look to the car but do they hold up, peel etc? Are they hard to install, does it have a clean look once installed? Anyone with any experience with them, please share. Also, where to purchase, I see them being offered on ebay.

Thanks!

I got mine but havent installed them yet and was wondering the same question.

I also think I heard or read somewhere that these will cause the headlights to crack like an eggshell.

I have them for the tails but I guess if they cause the headlights to crack that they can cause the taillights to crack.

Can anyone give some info on this?

I have them, they're great. They were challenging, but not impossible to install. It can be tricky. Once they're on, they aren't coming off, unless you really try to peel them. I was my car at least once per week and have had them on for 6 months. No cracking. Blue Batmobile sells them for pretty cheap.

I had them on my car before I converted my brake lights to the 06' version. It didnt look rice but now that they are off again, it looks much better IMO.
