i just test fitted this ****
u gotta mod the shift boot to raise it cos in its natural state, there will be like a 2 finger gap between the **** & the top of the bootie

I was trying to find a plastic or rubber piece to go under the **** to cover the area where the shift boot meets the shifter.

97supratt,

It seems that your shift **** is sitting too high (unless you want it that way)
You should be able to screw it in more if you give it some extra turns.

I just installed mine today over the Nismo shift **** rubber piece, and it leaves no gap whatsoever.
I also tried it W/O the rubber piece, and there's no gap either because
the shift boot natually rises up now that the rubber piece is gone.
