Default trunk/wing=waterlog

just curious,

when they installed my wing a loong time ago, they drilled some holes for the install. since then my trunk retains water, everytime it rains or wash my car. Then it leaks out while driving.. anybody have similar issues?

you should remove the wing and add some slim weather stipping around the outside edges. Also some silicone where the bolts go through for safe measure.

weather stripping might be ugly, but the silicone might be a good idea. thanks.
nobody else has this problem? I know a lot of other wings needs to have holes drilled.

The weather stripping goes under the wing. It compresses down and you cannot see it. Creates a water tight fit.

Kinda like a rubber plug. You won't see it, but it'll provide a water tight seal that wont deteriorate.
