Default 03 vs 06 grill / front bumper

I see alot of 06 grills with either a) stock grille with chrome accent on only TWO of the horizontal lines or b) some aftermarket (possibly nismo?) front grill

My 03 has 3 horizonal lines in my grille so I wanted to know if the 06 has less vertical lines and how many versions of the grill I posted a pic of, are there (does it fit an 03)

'06 grill only has two lines.

The metal grills folks use are of two types; tie-ons and replacements, the latter requires the factory grill to be cut out of the bumper.

The "grille" you posted a pic of cannot be bought separately, its part of the whole bumper. The bumper is a "Aerosync" (which is a JDM Nismo v1 replica).

I purchased some chrome-looking inserts which fit over the stock 03 grill to give it more of the 06 grill look. Brutal.....those inserts are now in my closet.

The first "mod" I made to my Z the week after I got it was the chrome door edge guards on the stock front grille. This week I finally upgraded to a real grille, this one is from B-Cool Billets:

These special strips are not available anywhere. The chrome strips are usually 3/8" & my polyurethane is 1/2" thick. in my view it's gives the front a bolder look! It won't crinkle, crack or chip unless you hit it with a hammer.

billet grills look bad on the 350z. Billet grills belong on american cars imo. But to each their own...
