The license plate reads Taipei City. No worries about this product - It should be fine. I'm glad to see it on an LMS car. The mono-color look is OK. Any one care to PShop a pic for me with black lower sections like the RS Concept? I am leaning towards that look.

kinda glad i didnt go for the V2 bumper in the end
not to sound harsh, but id hate to have spent AUD 2K buying and installing a genuine V2 bumper only to have taiwan knock-offs now flooding the market
is it even legal?

That's why I waited for the knock-offs. Plus, it took awhile for this style bumper to grow on me. But I like it more and more, as it doesn't scream "body kit". You could believe it is a stock bumper.

We all spent well over 1K for the genuine V1 bumper too... and you can get a very damn good kit in FRP from spoilershop.com.au for heaps less and why didn't you?... and their copy is exactly the same as my friend bought 1 set from them and the fitment was exactly the same as our genuine nismo pieces... (e.g. the side skirts are only 1/3 of what we paid for)...
It will be illegal to have that in Japan... but not anywhere else to my knowledge, even in Australia or in the States (where lawyers are heaps more popular), those knock-offs are perfectly fine...
It is up to customers' choices to have a perfect-fit knock-off made by the same material or even better (ABS) for heaps less, or they can pay heaps more for the logo printed on the bumper... as simple as that...

cheers,
richie

Sorry Rich you wont ever convince me to buy fake parts, especially FRP no matter how it looks in pics
If you offer the V1/V2 in urethane, then id def be interested as it represents something over the genuine kit - like i said FRP sucks, its way too brittle and easy to stone chip
I could have bought fake Volk wheels from Bob Jane for 1/4 price too, and put Falken tyres on them, but at the end of the day you mod the car for yourself - each to their own
But Rich if the bumper is really that cheap, there's no excuse for you not to fit one yourself now

That's what I was wondering.
It looks just like the authentic to me. **Pic of authentic @ Nissan dealership**

**Evo-r claimed replica**
I'm not saying Evo-r hasn't made a replica, but it's funny that it looks EXACTLY like the Nismo as far as gel-coat and everything.
I'd like to see a pic from the back-side too...like this.
