Ok, I know everyone is buying aftermarket rims but I can't afford them right now so... I was thinking of having my stock rims painted. I would like aftermarket rims but I also don't mind the stock ones I just don't like the color (grey). So here is my question. I like the rims that are a satin metalic color. Does anyone know if there is a paint that will look like the satin metalic ones or even how much it would cost to have them painted? Thanks for any words of wisdom.

 

Just don't Krylon your wheels like I've seen other members do. Get it done professionally. Should cost around 3-400, depending on where you go or if you have body shop hook ups. Some places will ask you to take off your tires first, some are more ghetto and will paint it with the tires on. All on how much you want to spend. I say just save up for some wheels.

 

I agree, I would never paint my own rims.
