Default 2005 and 2006 headlights direct swap ?

Hi,

I like the design of the 2006+ headlights and i'm leaning towards getting a pair of them. My car is 2004.5 touring w/ stock HIDs. Are the 2006 headlights direct swap for my car or do i need to get the 2006 HID equipment too?

The 06' head lights use the HID's for hi beams right? Does this mean that the hi beams still work even if you swap the new head light into the older Z? I guess you just tie up your hi beam harness upon install and dont use them with these lights? Any info is appreciated.

Don't you have to remove the front bumper to switch them out?

damn..i would love too but let me check with the shop to see if it's not too late to replace the headlight since they might blend the front bumper to the fender already.
