Default Is Seibon's stuff lighter than stock?

I know that their carbon stuff is mostly carbon backed by fiber (not real 100% carbon with UV gloss coat). So does it save weight over the stock bits?

Namely items like this....

They seem to be the only ones making carbon anything for body panels that have a gloss finish. C-West makes some nice 100% carbon UV gloss coated lips etc, but no body panels. ??

if you're talking about the CF fender then yes, they are a bit lighter. If you're talking about CF hood then it's almost the same.

if your talking about cf hoods, i wouldn't expect much weight savings being that the OEM is aluminum (light as it is OEM) versus seibon carbonfiber (layered on fiberglass skeletal structure; rather heavy in the world of CF)

Seibon parts are wet carbon fiber so you wont get much if any weight savings with those fenders. I have the same fenders but in fiberglass in stock. Im willing to price match as well.
