As others have already pointed out, unless your vendor is a Sponsor of this site, you will not be allowed to run a group buy.

From the Terms Of Use :

18.) GROUP BUYS
Members are to post what they would like a Group Buy on, and wait for a sponsoring vendor to reply and set it up from there. If a vendor is willing to make a profit from this site, they should be willing to step up and become a sponsor and give back to the site that is helping them make the profit. Any post made containing information on a Group Buy being handled by a company who is not a paying advertiser of this site will be locked or deleted. Any company attempting to set up or promote a Group Buy without being a sponsoring vendor is subject to banishment.

You should post your request for a Group Buy in the Marketplace->Vendor Classifieds->Vendor Wanted forum. The vendor should set up the group buy in the Vendor Group Buy forum. He should post the prices for the levels of participation, i.e. 1-5 $1000; 6-10 $900; 11-15 $800. You sign up if you're interested. You know what the price will be from best case to worse.

What happens if you "post what they would like a Group Buy on, and wait for a sponsoring vendor to reply". But no sponsoring vendors respond since they can't fulfill the request?

This isn't a group buy, this is a thread determining the interest for a product. If this was a group buy, there would be a price at the beginning of the thread, and a time when the product would be coming out. Please don't delete this, as this is something a lot of people would be interested in and benefit from. And hey, maybe a sponsor or two will see the interest themselves and decide to help us out as well

There really isn't a kit yet, so I guess that would have to be determined by whoever ends up making the kit, if it ever happens

True! I see were the mods are trying to get at, however like titanjc stated this is not a group buy but a list to see who's intrested.
If there is enough intrest later down the road then maybe the mods can move this thread to the correct place has stated by Dave

This is just determining overall interest from the 350z crowd so Shine Auto could see there is a potential market to sell to.. No group buy here. No reason to close this thread.

Honestly KamikaZ, I have no clue how long it would take...I'm not in the body shop business or anything... but wouldn't it be worth it? I'd much rather wait a few months for something I really want then spend money NOW on something I don't like as much...

Most expensive part is the molding..unless you have a big GB, it will cost alot to cover the mold. However, it is also cheaper to produce in urethane than fiberglass.
