The blue with the painted handles looks good, the one color that looks bad with painted handles is a ppw I saw with white handles and not matching anywhere close. I love shaved handles on most cars, but on the Z shaved handles make it way too naked, some graphics or something to catch your eye might make it look better?

You are right about the blue thats what i have!! My Z is the Blue Z on the first page under the Black Z with Shaved handles.

Its really nice on the blue because there is a flop in the paint so it gets the purple and silver in the paint as well which really adds to the car.

The other colors look good with them painted but i think the blue is the best for sure, (not just saying that cause i drive a daytona Blue Z

After looking at the stock, shaved, and painted door handles I don't particularly have a prefference. I like them all.

If you decide to shave the door handles make sure to get some good actuators. My friend shaved his door handles and the actuators that pop open the doors are pretty unreliable. He had to get into his car through the trunk several times. Very inconvenient if those things fail.

There is no way in if your battery dies, since the trunk is electric also

do you have to sand down the door handle and paint it? or just spray it on?

Actually, on our cars (Gs and Zs), the remote rolls down the windows and you could gain access that way.

That is why a secondary battery (usually a motorcycle battery) is added to the car, just in case that happens.

Same.

Although getting them painted in Gunmetal would be sick.
