does anyone know what type of buld is the rear turn signal for a 2006 model, is it the same as the front turn signal? please help ,i really do not want to take the whole housing apart to find out . thanks all

 

I think its in your manual. Atleast that's what someone told me but sounds logical to me. I havent checked myself although i was planning to.

 

i checked the manual ,the front turn signal is a 3457 and the rear is a t20 . so what is that! any clues

 

Have any of you taken out the rear bulbs? How do you get to them?

 

I think the rear indicators are unchanged from earlier models, they use an amber 7440

To get to them, open the hatch, remove the plastic screw covers and screws from the tail lamp, lift it out, unplug and set it aside.
Reach down to the back of the lamp housing and remove the bulb socket, then remove the bulb.

Install in reverse

Anyone upgraded their rear turn signal lights from amber to say a white bulb? I saw this on a Z and liked the look...since the housing is clear/white anyway it looked real good...
