Yeah the top two are Kirk's and have the little sticker on the bar.

I beleive the bottom one is just a Autopower roll bar.

can you possibly get pics of it, even though it hasn't been installed yet. I just want to see the main hoop/crossbar design.

I think the black one is an autopower roll bar, but it's had a few bits added to it.

Ok, so since I can't seem to find any good info on the Autometer rollbar and the Kirk rollbar moves the seat too far forward, it looks as if I am going to have it custom fabricated for me in my car. I'm going to order my seats/brackets next week, mount them, then have a roll bar welded in that doesn't restrict my seat. I will post a thread when complete. Thanks for the help.

Doesnt autopower make a street/race rollbar that doesnt have a cross/triangulated bar that allows the passenger seat to move all the way back?

Yes it does, but it seems like nobody is actually paying attention or checking out ther website. The street roll bar shouldn't interfere at all.

Here's the problem with that.....I need the cross bar to mount my harnesses to. So if that street bar does not come with the crossbar, its automatically not for me.

Also, the discrepancy wasn't about passenger seat mobility...it was about driver's seat mobility. And the Kirk bar is very limiting I have read.

I'll try to get some pics posted tomorrow. Again, it's not installed but it does have the harness bar so you might get a general idea on seat clearance. Patience please...

Here's a few pics of the Autopower Race Roll Bar with removeable crosstube and harness bar options.

Awesome thanks alot for those pics arizee, most useful post to me so far in this thread.

Do you have any idea what this bar weighs? Also, when do you plan on installing it? Finally, where did you buy this from and an approximate cost would be great.

Where are they bolted/welded to? The rear legs, are they mounted straight to the rear strut bar?

Not sure of exact weight, I'd say around 50 lbs. I payed the prices listed on Autopower's website - so, race bar $370, plus options $140, plus shipping and tax = $640. Check http://www.autopowerindustries.com/Distributor_List.htm for local dealers.

The bar welds to the floor and rear strut bar. I plan to install next month. I haven't found someone to weld the bar. Was quoted $600 where I bought the bar but that seemed high - any thoughts on that? Thanks.

Thanks man...I have a dealer about 10 minutes from my apt I just found out. And yes....$600 sounds way too high. It is just 4 points to weld and shouldn't take more than an hour or two if you bring it there with the carpet and plastic already pulled off.
