Default Need help disassembling headlights for baking! *PIC*

Alright, so i'm about to bake the headlights and go through the whole process of installing the clear diffusers. However, i ran into some trouble while disassembling the headlights themselves. The instruction manual for Rick's clear diffusers says that i have to make sure that i get rid of all the bulbs and wires prior to baking. The bulbs are gone, but the wires... well, have a look at this pic:

Ok, so my questions are as follows

1. How do i get this plastic jack off? There are a whole bunch of wires coming out the back of it, and i have a funny feeling that it'd turn into a molten blob in the oven.
2. How do i get this entire thing, including the wire, the hell out of there? I'm assuming that there's a way to pull it out after removing the ballast, but then, how am i gonna put it back in? I'd need to somehow grab the end of it and pull it all the way through the headlight to finally make it come out in the same place where it is now?
3. Same exact problem with this thing. Once i pull it out through the hole located at 4, how am i gonna get it back in, and through the back of the headlight?

I haven't done mine yet but they look like they are twist off or use a flat screw driver to aid in the clips. I read somewhere most of the wires are fine for baking because the HIDS are always running hot.

Free bump for someone with more info.

Do you need to take off the front bumper to remove the head lights?

Yes, you will need to remove the front bumper to get the headlights out.

You will need to remove all the bulbs and wiring from the headlight before baking them in the oven. The clips should come right off by using a flat head screw driver and pulling them off with your hand. The wiring harness can be remove by pulling on them lightly and they should come right out of the headlight housing. Here is a Do It Yourself write up by Ricks who sells the headlight diffuser. Hope this helps you guys out. The outcome will be well worth it. Just remember to make the seals nice and tight and to put enough sealant on all the areas that water/mositure can get into.

You will not need to remove all the bulbs, ballast or wiring.

If anyone is interested I will be offering my services to the Z community.
